Therapy for teens and young adults

A grounded, evidence‑based space for teens and young adults to learn and grow

The teen and young adult years can feel overwhelming—full of change, pressure, and intense emotions. No one should have to navigate that alone.

I offer both in-person and online therapy for teens and young adults (ages 10–25) across Canada, supporting them as they make sense of who they are, what they’re going through, and how they want to move forward in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.

With over 15 years of experience as a teacher and Instructional Coach, I bring a deep understanding of how young people think, learn, struggle, and grow. This allows me to provide practical, relatable support for teens and young adults, helping them navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom. My experience with the school system gives me a unique perspective when supporting my clients.

With a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual. I specialize in teen mental health, anxiety, ADHD support, giftedness, school concerns, emotional regulation, and stress management for youth and young adults.

I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space—whether in person or online—where teens and young adults can feel comfortable opening up without pressure or expectations. My approach is calm, approachable, and down-to-earth, making sessions feel natural and easy to engage in. I believe that humour has a place in the therapy room and we can discuss big, serious things but also laugh at the funny parts of life.

Both in-person and virtual sessions are confidential, with online options offering secure and accessible support from anywhere in Canada.

I support clients with:

  • Anxiety and stress in teens and young adults

  • ADHD support and executive functioning skills

  • School stress, academic pressure, and burnout

  • Identity exploration and self-esteem

  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Support for twice-exceptional (2e) and gifted youth

If you’re looking for therapy for teens or young adults in Canada—either in person or online—I’m here to help.

Whether you’re a parent seeking counselling for your teen, or a young person ready to talk, I offer a space where you can feel understood, supported, and confident in moving forward.
